Fees & PAYOUTS

Membership Fee

$40 per Member

Anchor 1

The membership fee is paid by each team member who is over the age of 16. By paying the membership fee each angler is eligible to fish in their chosen tournament series and any other series that they qualify for as "pickup" tournaments.

Membership fees are primarily used to pay for a wide number of league expenses including but not limited to things like the annual kickoff banquet, tournament weigh-in equipment, league insurance, DNR permits, site access permits, tournament director entry fees, trophies, prizes, and more.

Refunds: Membership Fees are non-refundable

GreenHorn Division
Tournament Entry Fee

$250 per SERIES

$50   Per EVENT

Anchor 2

The Base Tournament Entry Fee is the same for all GreenHorn Division Tournaments. We prefer all anglers to fish in all 5 events for each tournament series, however if there are open spots available in any given series you may join with commitment to fish a minimum of 3 out of 5 events. Payment for something other than all 5 events will need to be completed outside of the online system as it is expecting a full 5 tournament series to be fished.

Base tournament entry fees are used for three purposes.

  1. 89% of each entry fee will be paid back at the ramp for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.

  2. 10%  being escrowed towards the Tournament of Champions

  3. 1% is escrowed to the Big Bass & Big Bag Jackpots.

The payout breakdown schedule is shown at the bottom of this page.

Refunds:  GHBT Entry Fees are fully refundable for up to 2 individual tournaments in the case that an angler can not make the tournament for any reason; however the GHBT league directors must be notified at least 24 hours in advance or your entry fee is forfeited. You are responsible for notifying the league if you need a refund check.

Starting in 2024 - All ADVANCED Division Tournaments will be $100 per event.

  1. 89% of each entry fee will be paid back at the ramp for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.

  2. 5%  being escrowed towards the Tournament of Champions

  3. 5%  being escrowed towards the Team of the Year - Cash Payout

  4. 1% is escrowed to the Big Bass & Big Bag Jackpots.

Refunds: Entry Fees are fully refundable for up to 2 individual tournaments in the case that an angler can not make the tournament for any reason; however the GHBT league directors must be notified within one week of the tournament and at least 24 hours in advance or your entry fee is forefited. You are responsible for notifing the league if you need a refund check.

League Bonus

$125 per SERIES

Anchor 3

League Bonus is offered to any team in any series and is an optional choice.  The entry fee for league bonus is $125.00 for the season and applies to all five tournaments (if you fish in them or not. i.e. you can not pay per tournament). League bonus must be paid prior to the start of the first tournament of the year for any given series.

The League Bonus is just that, a bonus, which is paid out at the end of the regular season.  If a team chooses not to participate, no loss, the entry fees and payouts are exactly like they are without the league bonus. This keeps our league cheap for those of you just looking to have fun and learn; however, for those of you looking to win a little extra cash this opportunity is now here for you.

To participate in the League bonus teams will pay-in at the beginning of the season  $125.00 for the full season. All payments due prior to the first tournament for that series. Teams can not pick and choose which events they participate (it's either all events or none even if they are not planning to fish all 5 events).

All teams who pay-in to the league bonus will be eligible to win the league bonus for each event. League Bonus is awarded to the top team league bonus team for each event (100% payout). The first place league bonus team will win 100% of the total league bonus available for that event.

The standard tournament payouts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place of the whole tournament field will continue to be awarded at each event just like any typical tournament.  The league bonus payout will be paid out at $25.00 per eligible team per event.

Here is an example of the league bonus for a single event:

If we have a 15 boat tournament and 7 boats pay into the league bonus we have:

7 boats x $25/boat = $175 dollars of league bonus bucks for this event.

The league bonus winner of this event will be awarded $175.00. The $175.00 will be held by the league and added to any other league bonus winnings for this individual team, then paid out at the end of the season by a check in the mail.

(Note - If only 6 boats are in attendance the payout will still be $175.00 because the league bonus fee applies and will be paid out even if you are not in attendance)

League Bonus and the Payout table below apply to both GreenHorn and ADVANCED Divisions. We fully anticipate more teams participating in the League bonus from the ADVANCED Divisions.

To keep the accounting simple the League Bonus will be calculated and accumulate for each winning team throughout the season and will be paid out at the end of the GreenHorn Bass Tour Season and no later than November 30th of that calendar year.

Refunds: League Bonus is non-refundable

Jack Money

$500 per SERIES

Anchor 4

Jack Money is offered only as part of the ADVANCED Division and is an optional choice.  The entry fee for Jack Money is $500.00 for the season and applies to all five tournaments (if you fish in them or not. i.e. you can not pay per tournament).  Jack Money must be paid prior to the start of the first tournament of the year for any given series. $500 dollars goes toward individual events at $100.00 per each of the 5 regular season tournaments.

Jack Money is similar to league bonus but is paid out at the end of each tournament.  If a team chooses not to participate, no loss, the entry fees and payouts are exactly like they are without Jack Money and teams could still participate in the League Bonus if interested. This keeps our league cheap for those of you just looking to have fun and learn; however, now in the ADVANCED Series can make things much more interesting when fishing for higher prize values.

To participate in Jack Money teams will pay-in at the beginning of the season  $500 for the full season. All payments due prior to the first tournament for that series. Teams can not pick and choose which events they participate (it's either all events or none even if they are not planning to fish all 5 events).

All teams who pay-in to Jack Money will be eligible to win the Jack Money for each event. Jack Money is awarded to the top Jack Money team for each event (100% payout). The first place Jack Money team will win 100% of the total Jack Money available for that event.

The standard tournament payouts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place of the whole tournament field will continue to be awarded at each event just like any typical tournament.  The Jack Money payout is winner take all per event. Each Jack Money team is in at $100 per event. The total payout will be determined by the number of entered Jack Money teams x 100, is awarded to the highest placing finisher among those teams, and payout occurs during the tournament weigh-in.

Here is an example of the Jack Money for a single event:

If we have a 15 boat tournament and 5 boats are in Jack Money we have:

5 boats x $100/boat = $500 dollars of Jack Money for this event.

The Jack Money winner of this event will be awarded $500.00 during the weigh-in as awarded in an envelope with a prize check.

(Note - If less than 5 Jack Money boats are in attendance the payout will still be $500.00 because the Jack Money fee applies and will be paid out even if you are not in attendance)

Jack Money is only offered for the ADVANCED Division.
